I heard at lunch that the 2007 word of the year was w00t. That's fine and good, but w00t has been around a long time, at least since 1997. The fine website woot.com is several years old as well.
The runnerup - Facebook. I am of the opinion that Facebook is much newer and should have been selected, especially given how popular social networking is.Labels: Popular Culture, Social Networking
