The main reason I avoid iTunes is the proprietary nature of the product, and the fact that I dislike DRM in general. However, now that Jon Johansen (of DeCSS fame) has developed PyMusique, that might no longer be a problem. See, PyMusique allows you to download legally purchased iTunes songs, sans DRM. This might be the thing that leads me to use all of those free iTunes caps I have been hoarding.Labels: Archives_2005
